Maria Snegovaya Joins the Kellogg Center as PPE Postdoctoral Fellow

The Kellogg Center for Philosophy, Politics, and Economics is pleased to welcome Maria Snegovaya as a PPE Postdoctoral Fellow.

Dr. Snegovaya’s research interests include party politics, political behavior, and political economy. She explores factors that influence the ongoing democratic backsliding in Europe, as well as the effects of disinformation on public perceptions of social and political issues. Her dissertation explains the success of populist right parties as a function of the economic policy choices made by leftwing parties of the post-Communist era.

Dr. Snegovaya’s work has been published in the Journal of Democracy, Democratization, and Post-Soviet Affairs, among others.

She will start her position with the Center in September 2020.
