Michael Moehler Appointed to the Academy of Faculty Leadership

Michael Moehler, Professor and Founding Director of the David H. Kellogg Center for Philosophy, Politics, and Economics, has been inducted into the Academy of Faculty Leadership at Virginia Tech.

The Academy of Faculty Leadership was established to recognize exceptional leadership within the university, either within or beyond a faculty member’s usual responsibilities. Faculty members (including instructional, research, and administrative and professional) who have modeled exemplary leadership (in formal or informal roles) through activities and approaches that significantly advance a culture of collaborative leadership, promote faculty, staff, and/or student development, and/or advance program or curricular transformation, and have made a notable, demonstrable, and positive impact on the university are eligible for nomination and appointment to the Academy.
