Eric Bahel (PPE Research Fellow) will organize an International Conference on Social Choice and Voting Theory that is sponsored by the Kellogg Center for Philosophy, Politics, and Economics. In addition to regular sessions, the conference will include keynote addresses by Franz Dietrich, Bhaskar Dutta, Maggie Penn, and Salvador Barbera.

Participants should submit their papers/abstracts by email (socialchoicevotingvt@nullgmail.com). The deadline for submission is April 15. This will be a great opportunity to exchange on the open questions and recent advances made in this field from the comfort of your home or office. Students and early-career scholars are encouraged to submit their work. There will be a best-paper award, with a small monetary prize, for each of these two categories.

There will be no registration fee to participate in the event. All faculty and students are welcome to attend, although advance registration will be required To register, please visit this website: https://ppe.liberalarts.vt.edu/2021/01/19/ppe-conference-social-choice-and-voting-theory/
