PPE Research Fellow Panel: Decision Theory, Behavioral Phenomena, and Network Economics

April 13, 2022 @ 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm America/New York Timezone
Assembly Hall (Holtzman Alumni Center)

At this panel discussion, current PPE Research Fellows Daniel Hoek, Matthew Kovach, and Sudipta Sarangi will discuss their work in decision theory, behavioral economics, and network economics.

Dr. Hoek’s work suggests a novel inquisitive approach to decision theory that re-envisions the relationship between questions, choices, and beliefs, Dr. Kovach’s work focuses on behavioral economics and fundamental psychological concepts that underlie our actual choices, and Dr. Sarangi’s work in network economics analyzes the inheritance and evolution of socioeconomic relationships across generations.

Join this informal, yet intellectually rich discussion. All faculty and students are welcome to attend. Please visit the following link for more information: https://ppe.liberalarts.vt.edu/category/ppe-research-fellows/
