Gil Hersch Joins the Kellogg Center PPE Core Faculty

The Kellogg Center for Philosophy, Politics, and Economics is pleased to welcome Gil Hersch as a PPE Core Faculty member and Assistant Professor of Philosophy.

Dr. Hersch specializes in ethical and methodological issues at the intersection of social science and policy, especially as they relate to happiness and well-being. His research examines the relationship between philosophical theories of well-being and the variety of well-being measures available in the social sciences, and the implications this relationship can have for public policy.

Dr. Hersch’s work has been published in the British Journal for Philosophy of Science, Philosophical Quarterly, and Public Affairs Quarterly, among others.

He will start his position with the Center in August 2020.
