Holly Belcher Wins 2022 Provost’s Award for Excellence in Advising

The Kellogg Center is pleased to share the news that Holly Belcher is the recipient of the 2022 Provost’s Award for Excellence in Advising.

Ms. Belcher is currently the undergraduate student advisor for all PPE majors and minors at Virginia Tech and has served in her advising role for the past eight years. Ms. Belcher has done outstanding work as an advisor. As one advisee notes:

“Ms. Belcher has been a joy for the PPE community. She introduced me to the endless possibilities my major had to offer, kept us updated on special events the program has to offer, and allowed her position to transcend above and beyond her immediate advising role. Needless to say, she has been a Hokie at heart and has represented Ut Prosim during her time at Virginia Tech.”

The Provost’s Award for Excellence in Academic Advising is given annually to recognize an individual who serves undergraduate advisees in exemplary ways. The Award includes a $2,000 cash prize and membership in the University’s Academy of Advising Excellence.

Congratulations, Holly!
