Call for Editor-in-Chief of the PPE Undergraduate Journal 2024-2025

The Kellogg Center hosts one of the premier international undergraduate journals in PPE, The Philosophy, Politics, and Economics Review. This student-led journal publishes original research in PPE from undergraduate students worldwide.

The Kellogg Center invites applications from PPE undergraduate students at Virginia Tech to serve as Editor-in-Chief for the next volume of the journal. The primary responsibilities of this experiential learning opportunity include: drafting a call for submissions; monitoring, screening, and shortlisting submissions; preparing editorial board meetings; making acceptance decisions; overseeing and participating in the peer-review, editing, and publishing process; writing an editorial forward; assisting with the marketing and communication of the journal; and performing other tasks relevant to the academic publishing process under the guidance of a faculty editor.

In addition to having excellent writing, editing, and communication skills, candidates must be enrolled in the PPE major or minor, have completed PPE 2894, and be in good academic standing with the program.
